Infrastructure

Water System - Warren is fortunate to have an abundant supply of clean water. Two public water districts serve Warren, the Warren Water District and the West Warren Water District. These districts serve the densely developed village areas and surrounding residential neighborhoods. Both districts have an ample supply of water to serve new growth.  Click here to view our Water System Map.

Sewer System - Warren built a modern sewage treatment plant in the 1970's to serve existing industries and residences and to promote new growth. The plant has a permit to discharge 1.5 million gallons per day. Because of the closure of the Wright Mill in 2006, the system's largest contributor at the time, there is excess capacity in the plant to accommodate additional flow.  Click here to view our Sewer System Map.

Road System - Warren is served by state routes 67 and 19, which provide an efficient connection into the regional highway network. Warren is about a 15-minute drive from the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) interchanges in Sturbridge (#9, from the east) and Palmer (#8, from the west). The Town is equidistant (25 miles) from the major metroplitan centers of Worcester and Springfield.  Click here to view a map of Warren relative to our region.
