FY2022 (7/1/2021-6/30/2022) Sewer Rate Increase

At their meeting on August 11, the Board of Sewer Commissioners voted to increase the sewer fee to $431.25 per E.D.U. for FY2022 (7/1/2021-6/30/2022). This represents a 15% increase from the $375.00 per E.D.U. rate of the past four years.
Due to the need to comply with the Mass DEP/ EPA staffing mandate and to be able to make necessary upgrades and repairs to the 32 year old Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Board of Sewer Commissioners found it necessary to increase the rates for FY2022.
The new sewer bills will be in the mail before the end of this month.
