First and foremost, the Board of Selectmen would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our residents, business owners, school administration and employees for their understanding and cooperation during this unprecedented time. As you are aware, on Monday, March 23, 2020, Gov. Baker issued an Executive Order requiring all non-essential employees to stay at home. On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, the Governor extended his Order to May 18th unless otherwise advised by state and local officials. With that said, staffing at the Municipal Office Building will continue to be greatly reduced. The Municipal Office Building remains closed to the public. Most employees are working from home and are available via email or phone (message are being checked daily). First Responders are on their normal schedules and we extend special thanks to each of them during this time. Contact information for all offices is listed below.
The Board of Selectmen understand that this time has and will continue to test us all in the days, weeks, and possibly the months ahead so we again thank each and everyone of you for your cooperation and understanding. We want our employees to remain safe and healthy so in order to have the greatest chance of achieving that outcome, we feel these steps are necessary.
